My charming 11 year old son was playing with the settings on my
computer. For some reason I now have rainbows everywhere. Pictures are
all kinds of strange colors, people have blue or green skin. The title
bars are three or four colors at once. I have no idea what he did and he
is at school. I am sure there is an easy way to fix this. Unfortunately
I have no idea what it is. Can someone please help me.

It sounds like the color-depth is set to 8bpp, 256 colors... try going
into Display Properties and setting 32bpp, True Color.

Thanks for responding. Unfortunitly that wasn't it. In fact that was one
of the first things I tried. I am thinking it has something to do with
changeing the color setings in the color selection board.
Does anyone know if there is a way to reset the colors, to the default
setting?

You didn't specify the OS or video adapter used, but this should get you
close;
He *may* have been the advanced tab of the video settings, [right-click
desktop--properties--settings, advanced].
Look for the color correction settings, there *should* be a button to
reset to hardware default.

Did he put speakers anywhere near the monitor???

Sounds like the colour guns are all messed up. Do the colour of objects
change when you drag them around the screen???

either that OR he found a magnet to wave across the screen (assuming CRT
type monitor)
