is it possible to set the print details for a web page?
Not reliably.
it displays great in the browser, but when printing, is
too wide for the page - being able to set it to not
print the left border would probably be enough...
The Web is intrinsically an on-line experience. Surely
there's a way to accomplish what you want without paper.
Otherwise, you need to either change your page design, or
design a second version of the page optimized for
printing. In the latter case, you would put a "Display
Printer-Friendly Version" somewhere conspicuous.
Even this, however, won't save you from unexpected kinds
of printers, printers set in landscape mode when you
wanted portrait, and further variations.
