In Windows 98, I could open a photo, then right click on
it and choose "Set as a Desktop Item." This would place
the photo on my desktop so I could view it while
working. I'm now on Windows XP Home Edition and the only
option is to make the photo into wallpaper which distorts
the picture and makes the whole desktop very busy. I
just want to place a 3 x 5-inch photo on a part of my
desktop. Can anyone tell me how to do it? Thanks so
much, BJ

Right click your desktop and choose Properties /
Desktop tab...choose a background from the list
or browse your hard drive and find one.

When you have the image selected...open the
"Position " drop window and choose "Center"
....Apply / OK.
