I have been making changes for Access 2003 and Access 2007 registry changes
in XP OS to allow certain features to work for me.

Will I be able to make the same type of registry changes in Vista ???

Thanks,

Gary

Probably. Vista has a registry. Since you didn't give any details about what
you are doing and what you hope to accomplish with it, no one can be more
specific for you.

To be precise, I am trying to change the registry location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Access Connectivity
Engine\Engines\Text\

Thank You,

I'm not sure why you would want to do this but you'll get good advice from
the experts in one of the Office newsgroups.

I'm not an Office expert so I have no idea whether what you are doing will
work or have unpleasant results.

Sorry I was unable to help you.

I can access that key and it's permissions tab shows that administrators have
full control so you should be able to edit any values there.
