setting not saving

evertime i open msas i have to go thru the setup procedure,
and switch auto update and schedules on. Next time i open
antispy, none of these settings have save

running winxpsp2, SAV9, windows firewall.

ideas?

btw....this problem is not occuring with my version of
giant AS which is running on my laptop.

No other antispyware or security or goback type software running? I've seen
this symptom posted perhaps 3 times. One of the posters was able to recall
that, in fact, he'd mistakenly blocked an action during the install via a
message from another app.

not that i'm aware of. Would an uninstall reboot and
reintall fix this.? I tried an uninstall without reboot,
not fixed.

Instlled ms antispy on a few machine 2day, no probs.

The only "goback" installed is the winxp restore points.
 
Anything is worth trying. Reinstalling, installing in a different
location--say, c:\msas.

Make sure you are logged in as an administrator on the local machine.
