Setting Mail Transport Options in a script

Does anyone know the best way to automate the setting of
the mail transport options (eg. pop3 server, username,
etc.).

We have a terminal server environment, and I would like
to create some kind of script, upon first running
outlook, that creates these settings. Its sort of like
automating the wizard that creates a new account in
outlook.

Are these registry settings? If yes, why can I not find,
for example, my POP3 server's name when a do a search for
registry values?
