Setting Hijack defauts manually does nothing.

Click on the "advanced tools" then the "Browser Hijack
Restore" and then "change restore settings to a new URL---
" and apply whatever you like. When the GUI is closed the
original defaults are back, not the newly assigned values.

I've tried this for the past three days. The tool finds
the bug, deletes it. I reset the browser hijack restore.
Open IE, problem is back. Help!
