setting fax destination to common e-mail inbox

i've achieved all of the steps with w2kpro to get incoming faxes delivered
to an account inbox using outlook 2000 (CW). what i'm trying to do is have
the faxes delivered to a common inbox that can be shared by multiple machine
users. it works OK if i'm logged into the machine and a fax comes in while
i'm logged in but if another user is logged in, it won't show up. i'm
delivering the faxes to a common folder that both user profiles have a
personal folder pointing to. i can see the folder within outlook from
multiple users, but the incoming faxes will only deliver if i'm the user
logged on at the time of receipt.

any help is appreciated.
 
Please refer to the http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=246151 that discusses
about this area in general. I think the behavior you are seeing is as
expected. Fax service uses the logged-in user credentials to deliver the
faxes into local email inbox.
