setting default viewer for gif. jig. PNG

I frequently receive emails that have images attached to
download. I am not sure what WindowsXP was using in the
past to open the downloads but it was working fine.

I recently installed Adobe photoshop and now those image
downloads are causing photoshop to open and display the
content. I want to change the default setting from
photoshop back to where ever it was. I have tried to
figue it out but to no avail. Any help would be
appreciated!
