Setting Default Values of Listboxes with Extended Multiselect

I am trying to develop a form that uses listboxes with the multi select
property set to extended. I can enter the default value in the properties
box, but when the form is opened, the default value is not selected. When I
set the muti select property to "None", the default value is selected.

Is this a known problem and if so is there a work around?

I am using the following text to establish the default value:

=[lstSMunicipality].[itemdata](0)

Try this:
=Me.lstSMunicipality.Selected(0) = True
