Hi,

I want to change the default font/colour settings for all excel files. Is
there a way to set my own default font/colour for a excel workbook? I was
able to set a the default only for the new workbook, but if i open existing
files and type something it still contains the default excel fonts. I would
like to have my own fonts/colours settings for xl whether it is new file or
old file (what ever I type should have a specific font/colour, without
disturbing the existing text fonts/colours); is there a way to do this?

thanks

You'd have to make the change in existing workbooks manually, or better,
with a macro. Once a workbook is created its fonts/styles, etc. are 'its
own' whether they derived from Excel's defaults or your customizations.
