Hi,
I am working on a site where we would like to use rewrites to deal with
authentication, but still allow the users to publish content using
FrontPage.

Is there any way to set a cookie into the FrontPage client such that when
the client hits the server again it appends that to the Cookie: header of
its subsequent requests?

Many thanks for any help,

Eric

Thanks for the answer Mike.
Unfortunately theses seem to be components for setting and manipulating
cookies for browsers. I want to make FrontPage itself accept cookies. Any
ideas?

Cheers,

EE

No possible as FP is not a browser.

Hi Thomas,
Well, I actually saw a post to this effect earlier, but then when I
observed the headers FrontPage sends, I noticed that it does send a Cookie
header on all GETs in response to a SITESERVER cookie that seems to be set
by IIS or some software related to it. That's what prompted me to
reconsider setting cookies. Any reactions?

EE

IIS will create a cookie, however FP has no way to interact with cookies.
