When I had a Gigabyte motherboard and running WIN ME, I could an alarm for
the CPU temperature in BIOS.

I now have an Asrock MB with XP home but cannot find nothing in the BIOS or
anywhere else for setting an upper temp limit for the CPU.

Can some one help?

Thanks

Asrock sent me the following:
Dear Sir,

We did provide a similar feature called U-COP.

If the CPU overheated, BIOS will shut down the computer to prevent the damage of the CPU.

Thanks for the email.

Yours truly,

ASRock"

This sounds like an automatic function
