Hi
can anyone tell me how in detail to setup my Win 2000
server with multiple processors to only use only one
processor?

Also how to setup the server as an Application Server and
not a File Server? ( in detail )

I have an app that can only use a single processor server
that must be installed on this multiple one for now

Thanks so much
Susie

The way to have Windows use only one processor is to add the entry
numproc=1 to the OS load line in your boot.ini file.

Or install the OS by choosing the Standard PC HAL (By pressing F5 during
setup when it prompts you to press F6).
