Setting a LIstView as single select

I can't seem to find how to set a ListView as Single vs Multiple Select. I
looked through the properties as well as any methods and can't find it.
there is a MultiSelect property in the documentation but it does not show up
as available through Visual Studio.

There is no multiselect out of the box on CF.
