Is there a way to set some properties to limit the size of photographs
In some cases, yes. It depends on the file format and on the version of PPT
you have, but in any case, it's going to take considerably longer to set the
file ahead of time than it will just to drag it to size using the selection
handles once it's in PPT.
You might want to download the free PPTools Starter Set, which includes a
set of "Place and Size Exactly" tools that make it far simpler. Set one
image to the size you want, click to memorize its size, then bring in your
other images and click the "hammer" tool to whack them to size/position as
memorized.
