I want to create a file explorer that opens in My Computer.
I can set a specific drive in to start in but how do I specify "My
Computer"?

Edit the shortcut's "Target" to read
%systemroot%\explorer.exe /e,::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

Just drag a shortcut of the my computer icon or the drive you want to see
into the Startup folder.

under windows explorer properties
the targe shows: %windir%\EXPLORER.EXE
start in shows: %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%

when I open windows explorer the view shows
my documents expanded which I like
BUT i also want My Computer expanded TOO
what do i have to do?

thanks

Plus can you give me a second option to have My documents
My Computer and My network places all expanded

You can only have one expanded at a time.
