Hi All..Trying you guys as no one else can give me an answer through online
help at Walmart, they won't answer their phone number...just get a
recording..and the Walmart Help doesn't answer it either or I'm too dumb to
find it.

I ,or anyone else, logs in...When the desk top comes up with the Walmart
Icon that you click to go to the next step..the SET-UP SCREEN where you pick
your name to
get on the internet, well, the set-up screen is by-passed and you are
instantly connected. I assume this has something to do with the way accounts
are set up..however...for some reason..it just started doing it. I didn't
change any accounts.
Under User Accounts it doesn't give you an option to by-pass the set-up
screen. One diagnostics tech online told me it was too complicated a problem.
????
Something tells me that somewhere I can go and change that so the set-up
screen will stay there and we can click on our names. HELP!!!!! Thanks!!!!

Start from the beginning and pretend for a moment that we can't see your
computer. ;-) What setup screen? Is this a computer that you have just
purchased from Walmart? Or is Walmart only involved because you get your
Internet access from them? What "Walmart icon" and what "next step"?
Next step to what?

Sorry...I have Netscape via Walmart Connect. The Icon for internet is on the
desktop. Once double clicked you are taken to the set-up screen...this allows
each user to click on their user ID and connect to the internet. I found
forums for Netscape and think I can find the answer there. It's most likely
not a Microsoft issue...wasn't thinking about that when I found this forum.
Thank you for taking the time to respond...hopefully I'm going in the right
direction now! Again..thanks!!

I'm still none the wiser......I thought Walmart was a variety store (like
Target or KMart) in the US, not an internet provider?
I don't know that it is a *Netscape* (browser) problem.....since the problem
seems to be actually connecting to the internet, rather than
browsing.......?!
