Set time limit on database?

I have a database that starts with a logon form. This form gets hidden after
logon but stays open to hold some variables. Now I would like to set a timer
on this form so that a user, after not doing anything in the database for,
say 15 minutes, gets logged out.

I now I have to use the timer event but what would be the right code?
