It's actually quite easy.
1. Open a new appointment form
2. Go to the Office Orb, Editor options.
3. Click Show Developer tab in Ribbon
4. Set the time to Free.
5. Click on the Developer Tab.
6. Publish, Publish form as… if you have just one Calendar you want to use
this form in, publish it to the location that opened - this is the easiest.
Otherwise, select Personal forms library from the Look in drop down.
To use the form:
1. Right click on the Calendar folder
2. Choose Properties.
3. In the "When posting to this folder" dropdown, select the new form.
4. If you published it to the personal forms library, you need to click
Forms and add it to the folder.
If you want to use this form in multiple calendars, repeat these steps for
each folder.
Now when you click New, the form you created will be used.

what you were talking about. Is it hard to do? I have Outlook 2007 and
Windows Vista.

Every time I add a new appointment, it automatically sets the time as
Busy.
I don't like this. I want it to alway set time to Free, unless I
change
it.
Is that possible?
