Hi Kay & Wand

You can do 2 things.

1. Assuming you are running Active Directory, you can set the screensaver in
GPO (User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Control Panel\Display\)

2. The information about Screen Saver in registry are :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Desktop

SCRNSAVE.EXE (REG_SZ) The path to the screensaver
ScreenSaverIsSecure (REG_SZ) 1 for "yes", 0 for "no" (locks the
workstation).
ScreenSaveTimeOut (REG_SZ) The number of seconds before the screensaver
kicks in.

you can use this information to make a script, which configures the Screen
Saver

many thanks henning. much appreciated.

will give it a whirl tomorrow.

all the best,

leslie
