Set Program Access and Computer Defaults

I have been trying to pin down why FF will not set as the default browser.
Most of my external links work with FF except with Microsoft mail, if you
click on a link in mail it will open in IE.
I have tried "Set Program Access and Computer Defaults" (
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb...e+default+browser+does+not+work#Windows_Vista
Picture)
But FF is not listed in browser list.
Any suggestions?

Using
Vista 32b
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.16) Gecko/20080702
Firefox/2.0.0.16

I used the Bug-Fix and had no effect on URL's in mail messages , they still
open with IE. Is there anything that may be missing in the REG file below
that could be added ?

To restore Firefox to "Default Programs" run firefox.reg from:
