I would like to set all my pop up windows that come up when I am attaching a file or opening a document to "detail' as apposed to thumbnail or icon ect....can anyone help?

The default List setting for dialog boxes cannot be configured. You can
change the view while working within the dialog box but it will only apply
for that instance and will revert to List.
