How do I make Movie Maker my default program? I'm currently set up with another default program (ShowBiz) but I want to switch.

What do you mean? MovieMaker is not a viewer/player. It can't open any files
other than it own ".mswmm" project files. I actually haven't tried it, but I
don't know what would happen if you tried to open say a '.avi' with
MovieMaker. I could imagine that it would it create an untitled project and
import the '.avi' file? That is one logical interpretation. What did you
have in mind?

If you mean which program is launched for capture when a Firewire/IEEE
1394/i-Link camera is connected, then check Start Menu, Control Panel,
Scanners and Cameras, while the camera is plugged in. I would have expected
something there but don't see the option in my case. There should be a way
to do this. If that's what you wanted then re-post your question.

Thanks. I want Movie Maker to open for capture when I connect my camera, rather than Showbiz (which is set as the default).
