Set as Background

I am trying to recover a photo that was set as a background rather than saved
as it should have been. Now that it was set as a background where can I find
it or what or what am I looking for????? Thanks in advance
 
Hi Paul :-)

If it was saved as a background from a download, then it will likely be
stored in the default folder where your download documents are saved, such
as "My Pictures", "My Documents", the User Temporary Files folder, etc.

Also look in C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper

and check here:
http://www.readol.net/books/computer/Windows/Skinning.Windows.XP/078973348x/ch11lev1sec1.html

You can find the wallpaper here:

%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
(Type in Start/Run)

File name is "Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp"
