session drops when minimized

Is there a way to prevent a client session from dropping when the client minimizes their terminal session? When the client then re-activates their session, there is a blinking icon that indicates a disconnected session and it tries to re-establish teh session. Often times this fails. I think it may have to do with the client not responding to keep-alives. Is there a setting on teh server or client that will prevent this?

What do you mean with:

By default, a TS session generates no traffic at all when the client
is idle. This may cause some routers to drop the connection.

Have you already enabled KeepAlives? If not, I would do so. Have a
look here for instructions:
