Hi Byte,
Thank You for the advice on Sevices.msc, however, I'm
such a beginner, I had no business to even go into the
services and start messing with the options I had. I once
locked myself out of my own computer because I took a
microsoft update that made ASP.NET a user on my computer,
got paranoid, and had to find out... who this user was,
and made it the administrator of my computer and got
myself locked out as a guest...ouch...I found a way back
in, by reading, and printing up different things from
this newsgroup...(I've learned alot here & still learning)
when friends of mine, told me, I'm ------ Go buy a new
OS...Anyway, I went to
http://www.qwest.com/dsl/customerservice/csco678serverif.h
tml as you advised...........
I've had 3 different routers on this computer for the
last 3 days, only to find out, after being on the phone
for 3 days, that my ISP will only give advice for this
router...( damm !!! why couldn't they just tell me, I
couldn't use the other routers ???) I would of bought
this one in the first place. ok... I'm calm ..From what I
can see, this web site is for updating the router,
(though I can't check it out completely right now)
because I'm getting ready to throw everything out the
window and go back to watching T.V. lol
Thank You So Much For Your Advice....
I will definately check into this web site later...
Thanks Again ... ;-)
