Hi,
I had been working all this while with windows NT.There is a service
which I needed to kill using the TASK MANAGER. And as per my
requirement it didn't get killed. This is how it should happen.
Now when I switched over to XP, the same doesn't happen. If I try to
kill a service, it gets killed using TASK MANAGAER. Moreover, it
doesn't start. Is there a setting requiredat the OS level so that if I
don't want a particular service to be killed I can set it up
somewhere. Can anyone suggest me how I can avoid a task being killed or
if the task is killed it has to restart automatically. Please mail to
this id if anyone finds a solution. (e-mail address removed).
Regards,
Abhishek
