Under Services, is the Internet Connection Sharing the Service that is
installed when you add IIS to your system. If not, should it be set to
Automatic or manual. I installed IIS at one time but now I don't need it.
Instead of removing it from my system, I simply wanted to turn the Service
off.

Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

ICS isn't related to IIS at all - you can disable it if you like.

Then I guess my real question is this:

I installed IIS but I don't need it anymore. Is there a way to disable it,
without removing it from my computer? I thought, maybe, it was a service
that I could just set from auto to manual. If so, what is the name of the
Service?

Thanks

W3SVC
You might want to set IISADMIN to manual also.

I don't see that anywhere loaded. Is it suppose to be listed as a Service?

They are services at HKLM\System\CCS\Services.
Their display names are:
IIS Admin
World Wide Web Publishing

Yet I got it now. Not sure why I did not see that the first time.
Thanks
