Service Pak 2 corrupts you ISP and Microsoft Explorer, and there is

laughing at there little small cubicls...
Service Pack 2 cannot corrupt your ISP. Your Internet Service Provider is
not affected by what you install on your computer - at least not in this
case. Perhaps your settings to connect to your ISP or the extra security
features that were turned on when you installed SP2 caused you trouble - but
they should have been easily worked around without sacrificing too much of
the new security you gained from SP2. Perhaps if you described your
specific problem in this category, we could assist you.
As for it messing up Microsoft Explorer - not that I have seen - my
computers can all still see their hard drives and CD/DVD drives as they did
before SP2. If you mean Internet Explorer - perhaps this is related to the
above confusing statement you made? Specifics, again, will greatly help
someone here help you.
As for there being no way to uninstall SP2, you missed the boat on that one.
Here are two ways:
From the hidden $NtServicePackUninstall$ folder
1. Click Start
2. Click Run
3. Type the following in the open textbox:
c:\windows\$NtServicePackUninstall$\spuninst\spuninst.exe
4. Click OK
5. The removal wizard will start to walk you through the removal.
From the Add or Remove Programs Section:
1. Open the Control Panel
2. Click the Add or Remove Programs Icon
3. Click the Show Updates checkbox
4. Scroll down and select Windows XP Service Pack 2
5. Click Remove
It's not a single file.. Of course you cannot just "delete it".
I'm pretty sure the Microsoft employees mostly have large cubicles to sit in
and laugh at your post.
