service packfiles

It seems when I get an update windows says that it cannot
locate this file on my hardrive, it looks like this:
C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386/controls.man.
Also, Windows cannot find a USB device, or that it may
have malfunctioned. What to do?
Furthermore, Directx now says that it detects not enoguh
video memory to run Tiger Woods 2003, although I have
been running it for 2 years problem free.
All these problems have come at once!? Please, any help
out there?
I rebooted the system disc, could this have caused these
problems.

Are you sure it doesn't read "Virtual" instead of Video
memory?
