Service pack4 mixed mode

I have a w2k server with service pack2 in mixed mode. I
read in a article that w2k servers when updated with sp3
loses it's ability to recoganize Nt4.0 DCs. How about sp4?

Since I am using a NT4.0 server as a backup DC. I want to
be 100% sure of the campatiblity of w2k with NT dcs.

Thanks is advance for the knowledge shared.
 
I've never heard of that. Got WINS installed on the server?
You can and should apply SP4. Also ms03-039 and several others. Go to
www.shavlik.com and get hfnetchk.
