My computer is equipped with the windows xp professional,
and the service pack 1. I was told that it was out of
date. Does anybody know anything about this? Should I have
to update?

All you need to do is visit the Windows Update website to obtain
all the current updates your computer may require:

SP1 is not out of date. SP1a is the product of a law suit filed by Sun
against MS for copy-write infringements. The only difference between the two
is, SP1a does not have JAVA support. Run "Help and Support" from your start
menu and check for any updates from MS.
