Service Pack updates

Clare

I am trying to update another PC which has win2K on
there. Due to very slow internet speeds I tried to
download the Service pack on my machine (which is XP),
and then use a CD to take to the other machine to update
it.
Dowloading it was fine - choosing the express install - I
then put it to CD and took it to the other machine - but
when double clicking on the exe (after a couple of
minutes)......

Error message comes up saying the required internet files
are not present.

Is there any quicker way to get a service onto win2K
without ordering\paying for the CD to be posted (and
potentially wait for ever for it tp turn up).??
It seems the win2K machine needs to be connected to the
web at the same time as trying to install the service
pack - but even trying this the same error comes up!

Any thoughts anyone???? Many thanks in anticipation!
