We are trying to install SP4 for our W2K Pro machines to get them current. We cannot seem to get them to install. We are now getting Failed to install catalog files. Co-worker went to KB281458 and did the steps to resolve the problem and it still didn't help. And, while we are at it, the Critical Update to go to IE6, isn't working either. The message we get is the digital signature isn't valid. This just started happening since Friday.

Thanks,
Nancy

nancy,

download the network version and burn it to CD. It is just like sto' bought.
try it.
If it doesn't work take one machine and run chkdsk /r/f to see if this does
any good.
Have you looked at tne Event Viewer to find out anything there.
First if you can get one of them online run an online virus scan at Symantec

good luck,
