service pack 4 and loss of connectivity

I installed Service Pack 4 on my machine. Prior to this,
the internet worked fine. After installing SP4, the
internet was no longer available. I had no problem
connecting to the local network, although no one could
connect to me. All the settings appear fine, but no
avail. I had to uninstall and then everything worked
fine.....anyone got any ideas other than dont use SP4
 
Since installing W2K SP4 I have been losing my internet
connection frequently. Usually I have to reboot to
correct the issue. I did not do the Archive option from
SP3 to SP4 so I may have to bit the bullet an do a full
reinstall to remove SP4. ANyone esle have the frequent
loss of Internet with SP4?
 
Did the SP4 on 4 computers. IE6 no longer accesses
internet on 2 of them. Other programs can on same
computer can still access internet.
 
Try upgrading the drivers for your network card.
