I just found out there's a SP3 fror Windows XP. I'm using Windows XP Pro. Do I
need to download this? I'm surprised it didn't download as one of the automatic
updates Windows periodically installs. Thanks.

Windows update is not showing it for all users. For one reason or
another. Some reports are that MS is staggering the rollout, some say
it won't be till June, other suggestions is, you're missing something to
meet requirements.

Just download the link given by Mark in an earlier response.
Read all the preps and make backups.

Wait until the patches come out to fix the problems with SP3. It has
several severe problems that makes it unattractive. I'll see if I can find
the link to the article...
