when I checked my winzer properties it says that a service pack 3 is present
but, automatic updates keeps trying to download..i dont get it? my outlook

The XP service pack doesn't requre the Office CD.

You're likely downloading an Office service pack via MS Update.

Pay closer attention to exactly what it is that's being selected, downloaded
and installed; don't just leave the Windows Update function on automatic.

If you are having problems with Office, you're probably going to need the
CD. But that's a question better asked in an Office or Outlook newsgroup.
