service pack 2 ???

i certainly wish i could.
i am having a similar problem, which all started after i
downloaded sp2.
now every time i am on the internet, my browser reports an
error (sometimes more than once!), shutsdown and i have to
get back into what i was doing.

and so far, i have not found anything on microsoft.com to
remedy the problem.

how frustrating.

if you get a response, could you let me know?

Details? The crashes probably have less to do with an update
than with some incompatible third-party programs you have.
E.g. if you have Yahoo Companion Toolbar disable or remove it
and see if your symptoms change.


BTW the "SP2" is probably coming from preSP2 patches
you may have installed as a result of picking up critical updates
from the Windows Update site. (Keyword: KBIE600preSP2fix)

For example, see if the following list contains any updates
that are also listed in your Help, About, Update Versions: display:

how did i get service pack2 on my computer??
i am running ver#6.0.2800.1103.xpsp2 030422-1637
& i do not know where it came from.i receive auto updates
from microsoft. but one of my software packages
[quickbooks] cannot download payroll updates to sp2
how do i go back to sp1????

can anyone help me
