Service pack 2 Upgrade

I have tried on several occasions to run the upgrade and have gotten the same
result. System is unable to find imjprw.exe while backing up files. I
verified it is there and the path is correct. If I cancel out and continue
without backing up, a few minutes later I get a cancelled notifications
"Unable to read from or write to the database" this shows up when trying to
establish a restore point. Any one have any techical advise beyond the
obvious. Thanks

Have you disabled any running programs and made checked to see if you're
99.9% sure (100% sure is a myth) that you're free of malware?
