Service pack 2 Problem

After installing service pack 2 on a friend's computer his AIM, Yahoo
messenger, internet explorer, control panel and a few other programs wouldn't
work right. I have not had this problem with any other computers that I have
installed on. Has any one else seen this problem? Any help appreciated. :)

No i have not herd of this before. Ummm it seems to be internet programs that
have the problem... what is the nature of the problem? It may be that the
firewall is incompatable, try shutting that down.

If that does not work reinstall the programs which do not work...

Cheers

Good luck
