I tried installing from a CD, after frequent reminders that my Service Pack 1
was no longer protective. Installation got hung up at the cleanup stage, and
then the Windows error message came on, and the details advised there was "no
solution" to the problem. I have a Dell Inspiron 600m, plenty of RAM, 27 GB
of avaiable space, etc.

Any idea what the problem is? Help appreciated.

Do we have to guess at what the rest of hte error message said? Copy it
here word for word. Was it someting about space? 27 Gig isn't much if it's
a 160 Gig drive.

DETAILS make the difference~
