Service Pack 2 Firewall vs Norton/ZoneAlarm

I'm running service pack 2 on the computers on my home network, and have
enabled the firewall. Both computers had previous firewalls installed (one
had Norton Internet Security, the other had ZoneAlarm). Is there any need to
continue using these other security measures? They appear to get in the way
of file sharing between the networked pcs (i.e. when I disable them, I can
see shared folders, when they're on, I can't).
