service pack 2 failed to install 0x80070005

When I install service pack 2, service pack 2 has failed to install i have to
restart my computer and i'm without service pack 2 i've tried it with the
disc that microsoft has mailed to me for free then i try to download it from
the website and it has failed as well. Can someone help me with this problem
please????
 
0x80070005 = Access is denied. Try again while logged on as local
administrator.

i have the same exact problem! i have the disc from microsoft. installed
it, then UNinstalled it. now that FSX (Flight Sim. ten [X ] ) has appeared,
i tryed again to install, and got nowhere. "Access Denied!" 3 times! then i
went to online place, tryed there, again "Access Denied!" tho i am the only
one ever on here and i AM in the administrators position/seat. i try to go
to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, and the thing that i'm supposed to correct is at
the default thing. ie:0000FFF to 2000000, etc. i sure dont want to reformat,
but i will if i have to. please... someone?
