SERVICE PACK 2 - CANNOT INSTALL

I cannot install SP2. I D/L it from the Microsoft a nd then purchased the
disk from Microsoft, thinking it might be more complete. The program goes
all the way (I think) then I get the message "ACCESS DENIED." I spent about
6 hours with a MSFT over ther phone in a five day period but could not
resolve the problem.

CAN ANYONE HELP?
