I regularly find the Event message

"The ASPI32 service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified."

There is, of course, no file specified in the message. The Data panel is
blank.

The event shows that the Service Control Manager is the Source. The Event ID
is 7000.

Any suggestions for tracking this down will be appreciated.

TIA

AFAIK this service is used for SCSI drives. If you don't have
any of these, tell the service not to start: Start / Settings /
Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Services. Open the properties
of this service, then set its startup type to "manual".
