Hi,
I am not sure if the following issue is specifically related to DNS or
Windows in general:
On our DNS server, I removed a file called pavdrv.sys (which I think is a
Panda antivirus file), because it was causing the machine to crash after I
upgraded our Symantec Antivirus to its latest version (Panda had been
uninstalled 5 years ago, and since then we've never had problem upgrading our
Symantec product). Now, when I reboot the computer, a message pops up
saysing "At least one service or driver failed during system startup." Then
when I go to lookup the explanation for that popup in the Event Logs, I see a
Service Control Manager error ID 7026. The description reads: "The
following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load: eeCtrl". Now,
I want to know is this message the result of removing pavdrv.sys? The system
is working normal.
