I have seen this error before on other things from time to time, but this is
the 2nd time this week that this has happened with my Oracle Database
service. There's nothing in any of my Oracle logs that tells me anything
within Oracle is causing this.

Is there some way where I can get more information that might help me find
out what's causing this. Whatever it is I need to fix it as this is a
mission critical server that needs 24X7 availability.

The 7031 means that a service terminated without notifying the SCM, this is
usually due to a process crash. It is highly likely Oracle wouldn't log that it
crashed because at that point it has no control.

I would probably talk to Oracle about their recommendation for debugging the
app. You can also do a search with google about debugging service applications
on Windows. You can also look to post in the programming groups. The AD group
here really doesn't have anything to do with the problem, very few of us
probably do any compiled programming that requires debugging skills. I am not
all that up on debugging anymore as it isn't something I have had to do for some
time and when I do, it is debugging my own apps which is a whole other thing.
