Serverless chat programs

I'm after a good serverless chat program. It would probably be only used on
a LAN.

It would be good if it printed the messages in a window in the order that
they arrived, similar to how the server based chat programs work.
 
you got an ipx layer installed ?


i wrote an ipx layer comms program (just like winpopup) runs under
windows with ipx layer and runs in "dos window"

i will make it available on my site shortly.

ok, my prog requires ipx to work over lan.

I need something which is simple for other people to set up and also people
who are on different subnets.

no setup required, just run the executable, you can even run the files
from a central mounted volume.

oh well, let me know if you find something, would be ideal to compare
notes.....
