How do you determine what goes in each server POP3 and SMTP? Is it numbers
or server names? I am still coming up with error messages.

Sigh... messages what messages? (All crystal balls out of service!)

As for the settings... Follow the money...

Since you pay your ISP (Internet Service Provider) for an email service
they are the logical people to ask and they owe you the support.
Check the email support section on the web site.

If you don't know how to use Google
post your ISP here for assistance.

While you are here...

I'll you have Norton or McAfee antivirus software
preinstalled on your new PC you should give serious
consideration to getting rid of them since they are incompatible
with Windows Mail and will screw you in due course
(randomly but at a time of maximum inconvenience.)

A tried and tested alternative is Avast (free.)

NB.
Email AV scanning is superfluous and should
be omitted during the install process.
